What is a contribution day?
Project contributions are historically known as sprints. A contribution day is an important part of Drupal's growth, and provides great opportunities to get involved in contributing to Drupal itself. Everyone is welcome!

You don't need to be a developer to contribute. We need: project managers, bug reporters, QA testers, people to help write documentation, etc... If you ARE a developer, but not sure where to get started, we have mentors to assist you.

Contributing can take many forms. Contributors do not have to be coders. Projects can use testing, documentation, issue triage, user experience, you name it! There are so many ways for folks to value to open source.

Do I need to buy a ticket to attend?
All of DrupalCamp Colorado is free to attend, including contribution day, we do ask that you register for the camp and, if you feel inclined, we would love your support as an individual sponsor.

What if I'm new to contributing?
That's great and welcome!! There will be a mentored contributor workshop in the afternoon and mentors available throughout the afternoon. We'll go through the whole process - finding an issue, creating a patch or merge request, reviewing the fix, and some issue triage.

The more you contribute, the more you learn! Your understanding of Drupal will expand when you break apart the pieces and fix them!

Sponsors are the lifeblood of our camp. Check out our prospectus for a full summary of opportunities or reach out if you'd like to work together on a sponsorship package that makes sense for you and your business. Email us at sponsor@drupalcampcolorado.org.
